When you get home from work, the stress remains. There is never time for you, time to relax, time to enjoy the life you have worked hard to create. It's overwhelming and lonely.

You've forgotten how to connect with friends and family. The anxiety leaves you feeling like you just don't fit in. So you isolate and stay away because that feels safer.

The panic attacks are starting to happen more often, which are just another thing to worry about. You don't want to keep on like this. Staying busy isn't working any longer and you need something to help you slow your mind, stay calm and confident.

I’m Katherine Boelts, LMFT, serving Orange County, CA.

I help overachievers who are tired of getting through life with anxiety. I can help you stop the thoughts that overtake you and get back into feeling in control. 

What will I learn?

You will learn to use  mindfulness and skills you can use everyday to help you learn to get through the moments where you feel overwhelmed and don’t know what to do next or where to start. With Cognitive Behavioral Therapy I teach you to restructure your thoughts to something more helpful and strength based. With Solution Focused Therapy I teach you to identify the problem and create solutions. You have strengths! I want to help you find them AND use them.

Anxious, stressed, panicked?

I work with people who have anxiety, worry, and panic attacks. I work collaboratively to help them reach their goals and become the confident person they want to be. My clients typically have video sessions with me weekly so they have consistent support wherever they are and throughout the month. The weekly schedule allows them time to integrate what they have learned, as well as process what is currently happening in their lives. I often integrate coping skills, mindfulness, cognitive behavior therapy, thought reframing, and metaphors to help put things into context.

Therapy doesn’t have to be something you worry about or another thing to do - it can be something you enjoy, that provides relief and builds you up so you don't have to just survive another panic attack.
